When we get married to a person we are committing to him for the rest of our life . We promise to share every joy and every sorrow together , always be a supporting hand in one another's life. Infact marriage is a very sacred institution it is not only a union of two bodies but a coming together of two souls becoming one.

Marriage is one of the most beautiful part of one's life everybody gets married some marry early some late. Some do love marriage others get married through arrange marriage.

Then why does one resort to divorce. Well divorce is not an easy decision for either one of the two but sometimes the circumstances become such that it is better to separate than live under the same roof. Here we are going to discuss some of the reasons or grounds which can lead to a divorce

Cruelty or Adultery

This type of behavior varies according to the gender of the petitioner of the divorce. Although the law states that cruelty is equally available as a ground for divorce for both men and women but the way in which law is applied men and women are usually judged by different standards. This includes both physical and mental abuse.

Impotence

Impotence is also one of the key points in separation of couples. Each one of us have some sexual desires whether a man or a woman and when a man cannot satisfy the sexual needs of the woman she has every right to file a divorce suit as she no longer get the sexual satisfaction from her partner.

Infidelity

Infidelity is indulging in a relationship outside of your marriage. These days it has become quite a common thing with both husband and wife working they get very little time to spend with each other so in order to satisfy their emotional and sexual needs they sometimes seek pleasure in relationships outside their marriage. It can act as a serious dent in a relationship and break the faith in your partner forever.

Incompatibility

Sometimes we just get married to the wrong person. The two of them do not share any common interests are always fighting, never come to conclusion on any topic. This is more common in arrange marriages.So the couple might want to end their relationship and find a more compatible partner after divorce.

Divorce should always be considered as the last resort in a marriage.If one is devoted to his or her partner remains loyal and listens to each other's problems the divorce rates can certainly come down.
