However, what I am going to tell you is that the above is not really true. You can still make your wedding special and unique even if you have a very tight budget. The key is that you need to use your imagination and you may need to spend more time to work on it. Yes it is very true that it is always a trade off between time and money. If you would like to spend less money on your wedding, you will probably need to take more time to work on it.

One of the items that will affect the amount you are going to spend a lot is your wedding venue. The first thing you need to do is to make sure that the size of the venue will fit the number of your guests to be invited very well. You will not rent a venue which is too big. In this case you will be just paying extra which you do not really need to pay initially. Since your aim is to make your wedding special, you may not go for the option of a hotel ballroom. In fact, one of a low budget yet special option is to have your wedding at your home. You may also see if you can have your wedding at the home of your friends. In this case you will not really need to pay even a buck for the rent of the venue. A wedding at home will be a romantic and unique one at the end of the day.

You will of course need to arrange some music for your wedding. However, hiring a wedding DJ or a live band can be something very expensive. In fact, you can play CDs instead of hiring a DJ. You can select some songs you love and also suit the event and then you can make a CD out of these songs. This can be a inexpensive yet practical option of your wedding music. Of course you will need to choose the songs from your heart and you will also need to spend some time do so in order to make it special.

You can also create inexpensive yet special wedding invitations. The key here is that you need to create the card yourself. For example, if you really decide to have your wedding at home, you may consider making your card like some homemade items. Most people will print their invitations. However, you can use your hand to draw and write the invitations in this case. This will certainly make your wedding invitation inexpensive and special.

In fact, it is not difficult to plan a low budget yet special wedding. You will be able to do so if you can follow the above ideas.
